Gnawt-a-Rock™

natural rubber treat dispenser & toy

Color

Selected: Lichen Green

It may look like a piece of obsidian rock, but it’s Gnawt-a-Rock - a durable treat dispensing dog toy is inspired by natural volcanic glass formed by rapidly cooling lava from Pacific Northwest volcanoes. The Gnawt-a-Rock is made with natural latex rubber, a faceted surface, and an irregular shape. It all comes together to keep your pup guessing, whether chasing after its erratic bounce or nuzzling and nosing it around for interactive treat-dispensing to stimulate their mind.

Check out the Gnawt-a-Stick™ and Gnawt-a-Cone™ - the other two toys in the Pacific Gnaw-west toy collection inspired by the natural surroundings in Ruffwear’s home of Bend, Oregon.

One Size: 4.5 in (11.5 cm) Diameter

Our toys are designed to be interactive - it's just more fun that way. While our toys suit a range of play styles, dogs can be crafty and determined chewers, so supervised play is recommended. If any part of the toy becomes loose or detached, take the toy away and discard.

    Another Hit!

Great puzzle toy, both dogs love it. We use it for treats and kibble.

    Treat dispenser

This has holes on both sides so it didn’t take my dog long to figure out how to get the kibble out. I just add it to his other treat dispensers for something a little different to keep him busy. Not a big chewer so I don’t know how it would last for a dog that is.

    Love it

Hours of entertainment. My dog loves chasing this around the house. I use it to feed her meals. She used to scarf down her food and this slows her down.

    Impulse buy, love it!!

Our girl loves her stuffed Kongs and plastic roll—a-treat type toys, but they either make a lot of noise or roll under furniture and get stuck (or both). I bought this on an impulse when ordering her an additional harness and it’s been great. It’s relatively quiet when she plays with it, and because it’s irregular shaped, it doesn’t roll and get stuck. The only drawback to this style of toy is how to get it really clean on the inside. We put it in the dishwasher and then rinse it really well with fresh water when it’s done.

Great for calming down a young beagle.

This toy is exactly what we needed for our puppy to take time to focus on a task and play by herself.
